The Hecate ring was inspired by Hecate from Greek mythology, associated with magic, crossroads and the passage between the known and the unknown.
At the centre sits a labradorite whose flashes shift with the light and viewing angle. Brass moon symbols sit on either side of the stone, while the dark patina brings out the texture of the metal and the contrast between silver, brass and labradorite.
A crossroads does not tell us which path to take. It marks the moment when the familiar ends and what comes next has not yet been fully revealed. Hecate, the changing glow of the labradorite and the moon symbols all carry that same idea.
