The more I observe nature, the less I believe in perfection.
I believe in movement, change and forms that cannot be planned in advance.
The Return to Yourself ring grew from this idea, shaped from a single line of silver that curls freely into a spiral.
The spiral reminds me that no matter what is happening around me, I can always return to myself.
At the other end of the ring is a labradorite that reveals a different flash with every movement and change of light.
Parts of the silver surface were shaped using reticulation. Fire created a slightly irregular texture that emphasises the ring’s organic form and the mark of handcraftsmanship.
The ring is open and adjustable.
