At high temperatures, silver melts completely. Left to itself, it becomes round.
I wanted an organic shape, not a sphere. While the silver was still glowing hot, I shaped it with tweezers.
I was not trying to make two identical earrings. I wanted each one to retain the trace of the moment in which it was created.
That moment between molten and solid silver lasts only briefly. It cannot be repeated in exactly the same way twice, so the left and right earrings are not identical.
That is why this pair exists only once.
